Pls see the picture below. You can also find this photo on the back cover of just released Glorian Koti and more of it in June issue.

At this particular summer cottage in Sysmä I spent the hottest day in summer 2010. This idyllic place is my cousin’s, it was our family holiday and the temperature went up to 37, something C. It was unbelievable. Children had to be put inside(water, juice, icecream and videos) and we grown-ups tried to gasp some air in shadow.

Let’s hope that this summer will be as hot!

Two things

I mean working… I’ve been busy working in January and lots of the shootings have been out in the snow.

I want to say, thankyou winter, even though it is a bit grey and wet here in Helsinki right now. But this very moment when writing this update, there is more snow coming down-again. At least there is more light.

Look at my dear hairy friends below. I could say that there are two things I don’t want to change:

Last night was thrilling in many ways. First of all, there was a fine exhibition opening. If you can’t make it to Sanomatalon Mediatori, please see the whole exhibition in the net, http://www.mainosvalokuvaajat.com/nayttely//smv2010/index.html

It is not just the exhibition, but also the annual Advertising Photographers photo-contest. And this year again I was awarded: This time with the third prize of stilleben-series.

And  last but not  least: 50 years anniversary book of Finnish Advertising Photographers! Close to 400 pages of top quality. I couldn’t be more proud of all of the above.
